The North West Geologist
The Northwest Geologist (NWG) is a joint publication between the Manchester Geological Association, the Liverpool Geological Society and the GeoLancs (formerly the Lancashire Group of Geologists). The publication replaced a former journal called “The Amateur Geologist”. If anyone has a full set of the Amateur Geologist, or even just a few copies, it would be great if we could digitise them.
The NWG Editors (Maggie & Peter Williams, from the Liverpool Geological Society) welcome original articles on topics related to Geological and Geomorphological topics, which should be sent to nwg.editor@gmail.com Members who have an article to be considered for inclusion in the next edition of North West Geologist, or are thinking of writing an article for this publication, are asked to contact the NWG Editors who will provide a guide for authors.
